Chapter 3 Methodology

The Research Design The study utilized the descriptive research as its research design. It has the purpose of describing the study’s nature which merely considers the students of the University of Saint La Salle-Bacolod. It helps the researchers show the effects of breakfast on the academic performance of the respondents. The Research Respondents The respondents of the study comprises 30 students of this university from different colleges. They are identified through convenient sampling. It is the non-probability sampling technique where the subjects are selected because of their convenient accessibility and proximity to the researcher. In all forms of research , it would be ideal to test population, but it’s too large and it is just impossible to contain. This is why we use the techniques to obtain the needed information that will support the study. The Research Instrument The researchers conduct a survey using questionnaires to help gather all the necessary information that is needed in the study . All results from the survey is use to analyze the data that is presented in chapter 4.
