Europe is located on the north, and mostly on the east hemisphere. From the Atlantic ocean in the west to the mountain range of Ural in East, and from the Mediterranean Sea in the south to the Arctic Ocean in the north. The hemisphere that has more land than water surface is called water hemisphere, and it takes Europe, Africa and North America. The center of that hemisphere is in France (Europe).Europe is located between three continents inside the temperate belt and it has temperate climate, with lots of rivers, vegetation, and mineral resources/f fields- etc.

OLD AND NEW WORLD
Up to 1492, European knew only about three continents: Europe, Africa and Asia. These three continents are known as the old world. In 1492 Europeans discovered a new continentAmerica, and later Australia and Antarctica and these three continents are called the new world.
