The mystery of this book was intense. It lasted until the very moment the mystery was revealed and I was completely surprised when I was told the truth. The suspense was definitely worth the conclusion, and the book along, with the various settings of Tahoe, helped drive the plot along. Overall, this mystery book was astounding and left me dumbfounded, trying to understand what had just happened.
