"Sanguine Mind" Wide is the ocean But narrow is the river: A hesitation in nourishment But in time it will deliver

. The darkness is all encompassing But dawn is always near. The clouds will part eventually And so shall the fear. The page is dried and without blemish But ink shall bleed it with meaning. The formation of words will set it free From an existence so empty and demeaning. The wrong steeped in anger and sadness Will crack under the softening of harsh ground. The growth towards the sun: A new life to be found. The sleep that is not blessed with a dream Will, in time, graciously open the mind. The child inside, the innocent one Was always there to find.
