Asher Yaron Bio

Asher Yaron has lived a varied and adventurous life that has given him a unique perspective. Asher was born in New York City and spent his early years growing up in Princeton, New Jersey. After graduating from college he immediately went to work on Wall Street landing a job as a commodities broker and trader and worked on the 103rd floor of the World Trade Center in New York City. After 7 years on Wall Street Asher decided to follow his passion for competing in triathlons and bike racing and opened a bicycle shop and fitness center in Darien, Connecticut. Asherʼs first venture as an entrepreneur was exciting and satisfying, but also a lot of dedication and hard work. After 7 years Asher felt it was time for another change and moved to the west coast where Asher met his future wife, the beautiful and talented fine artist Avara. Asher and Avara traveled to Bali on their honeymoon and fell in love with the island and its people. Together they created a business that would bring them back to Bali a few times each year. Their company, Neshama, used Avaraʼs designs to create unique one-of-a-kind 22 karat gold jewelry and sculptural handbags. Their artwork was manufactured in Bali and sold all across the U.S. After 11 years it was time for another change. They both, coincidentally, became interested in food with Avara becoming a Raw Food chef and Asher becoming a coffee roaster. They both began businesses in southern Oregon in their new fields and after another trip to Bali in the Spring of 2010, decided to move to Bali on a more permanent basis. Asherʼs coffee roasting business in the U.S., “Wake-Up!” Coffee, was dedicated to creating the freshest coffee on the market in a green and sustainable way. The only part of the business that was not sustainable was importing the coffee from abroad. In Bali, where excellent organic coffee is grown, Asher saw the opportunity to fit this missing piece into his business model thus creating a fully green and sustainable enterprise. Asher has had immediate success with his newest venture, F.R.E.A.K. The company is dedicated to making the best and freshest coffee while being Organic, Green, and Sustainable. F.R.E.A.K. is involved in all stages of production, “From the Cherry to the Cup”, growing, harvesting, roasting, making, and serving the best local 100% Arabica coffee from the mountains in Kintamani, Bali.
