Cola®Det SCE-40PG

INCI Name: Sodium lauryl sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, cocamide DEA, sodium laureth sulfate, and PEG-150

Cola®Det SCE-40PG is a highly concentrated blend of surfactants designed for easily
formulated shampoos where mildness, high foam and high viscosities are required.

• Liquid dishwashing detergents
• Produces gel products with the addition of salt
• Produces low-cost shampoo and bubble bath products
• Mild hand soaps

Appearance at 25oC Straw-colored viscous, clear to slightly hazy liquid

Cola®Det SCE-40PG may be diluted as much as 4:1 with water and a desired amount of
NaCl added to produce high viscosity, high foaming, and mild cosmetic-grade products
with excellent color. Generally, 1.0% - 1.5% of NaCl added to the 4:1 dilution will
produce acceptable viscosities up to the point of flowable gels. The final dilution should
be adjusted with citric acid to pH 6.5 – 7.0 before the addition of NaCl. The addition of
Cola®Det LPC will produce a pearlized product.
