To our most valued guests, We are writing to you with restrained joy and humility to announce the first

in a series of monthly wine dinners that will be a continuing tradition at Elaia. We would like to invite you to attend our debut wine dinner on Tuesday, June 4 at 7pm. The menu is elegant and diverse, celebrating the storied culinary traditions of the golden slopes of Burgundy. This is a wine dinner of the likes that St. Louis has not seen in over a decade. We have partnered with Martine’s Wines, the importers of master class wine s such as Château Rayas and Henri Jayer, in order to pair the finest food with the finest wines of France. The dinner will feature nine wines of Burgundy from the uncompromising Maison Leroy, one of the most worshipped estates of the Côte d’Or, which includes library releases dating back to 1999. This is the same Leroy family that previously owned half of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. This is the same Leroy dinner that has been held at the famed Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in years past, but we have managed to convince Martine’s Wines to spotlight their wines in our humble market this year. These are wines that are not available in the St. Louis market regularly, and they will be available for retail purchase on the night of the dinner. The cost of the dinner will be $225/guest, which will include both your food and wine pairings.
