A service rifle may be used as a NRA match rifle. SAFE ZERO: It is essential that competitors have a safe zero at 1,000 yards for this match. The GRRC club has implemented a 1,000 tournament rule to increase the safety of this match, and to reduce the number of people showing up without any kind of zero on their rifle. We are limiting the number of beginning shots that don’t hit the target to 6. During these beginning shots if you do hit your target, you’ll become eligible to continue to take as many sighter’s as you want, or start shooting for record. If you don’t hit your target in the first 6 shot’s, then you’ll either have to remove that rifle from the line and try another, or be disqualified from shooting that match. We will try very hard to help get you on target in the first 6 shots. ENTRANT DUTIES: All competitors will be required to score and to do pit service. Competitors failing to present themselves at the proper location when their relay is called will lose their right to compete in that event.
