Blasts
Blasts appear in the area indicated as Blasts/Atypical Lympho in the DIFF scattergram. Blasts appear in the area indicated as Blasts in the IMI scattergram. By means of the lysing reaction, blasts are reduced to 1/2 to 1/3 of their volume. Since a blast has a coarse nucleus and only a small number of immature granules, the density of the whole blast cell is considered to be the lowest.

Immature Gran
On the DIFF scattergram, immature granulocytes appear in the area indicated as Immature Gran. Immature granulocytes appear in the area indicated as Immature Gran on the IMI scattergram. Like blasts, immature granulocytes are usually shrunk to 1/2 to 1/3 in volume by the lysing reaction. According to the level of nucleus' maturation and the volume of granules, the density of the immature granulocytes are considered to be higher than that of the blast cell.

Left Shift
The band cells appear in the area indicated as Left Shift on the DIFF scattergram.

Atypical Lympho
Atypical or abnormal lymphocytes appear in the area indicated as Blasts/Atypical Lympho in the DIFF scattergram. Atypical lymphocytes and some blasts appear in this area.

Abn Lympho/L-Blasts
When atypical or abnormal lymphocytes appear in the area indicated as Blasts/Atypical Lympho in the DIFF scattergram, evaluate monitoring with IMI channel information.

NRBC
NRBCs appear in the area indicated as NRBC in the NRBC scattergram. NRBCs appear in the area indicated as NRBC in the DIFF scattergram.

PLT Clumps
PLT clumps appear in the area indicated as PLT Clumps in the IMI scattergram. Since platelets maintain their form in the lysing reagent, they broadly appear in the range from the ghost area to the PLT Clumps area. PLT clumps appear in the area indicated between the ghost area to the neutrophil area.
