noun 1 the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness The attitude of Integrity relates well to both the Who We Are (Consequences of decisions) and Sharing the Planet (Small changes) units of inquiry. This week, reflect on the personal choices and actions you make, and the influence that your integrity has on them.
Area 1; Consider your principles and morals. As a result of your learning about decision making, would you stand up for something you believe in strongly? How far would you go to take a stand? Some people believe that modern, digital technology is changing how we take a stand How do the modern and older generations vary in how they take action?

Area 2; The game of Scruples is a good way to explore your principles and learn about your level of integrity. Explore these situations then share your thoughts and responses with other people in your class. Do you always share the same solution to the problems with others? Problem #1; You are in a large department store buying a gift with your hard-earned pocket money. The gift costs $10, and when you pay with a $20, the busy assistant gives you your $10 change and the $20 you paid with. What would you do?

Problem #2; You spent all evening last night watching TV. When you packed your bags this morning, you remembered that your Maths homework was due today. You have not done it. This will mean trouble in class. You could ask your parents for a note giving a false excuse. What would you do? What would your parents do?

Problem #3; Your friends in class are all excited about the latest single by the hottest pop star. You have spent your pocket money this week, but your classmate has a copy of the song on a memory stick and you can have it for FREE! What do you do?
