Summary of Work Hours
Daytime Allowable Hours Monday – Friday: 7am - 9pm
Saturday: 8am -6pm No Sunday work

Extended Hours Monday – Friday: 9pm - 7am of the following day Saturday: Before 8am & after 6pm
All day Sunday

Peak Traffic Hour: Restricts construction from 6am – 9am and from 3:30pm – 7pm, Monday through Friday. Holiday Moratorium: Restricts construction from before Thanksgiving to after New Year’s Day holidays.

Extended Work Hours Request
> Metro requests extended work hour variances from City codes > Variances allow longer work hours, including nights and on Sundays > Continued approval is conditional on performance > All work will be scheduled in advance, with notice to community

> Compliance with the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program (MMRP) is required > Project Hotline operates 24 hours per day and 7 days a week > Metro’s team has used these variances on the successful Eastside Gold Line construction
