AIM

: To obtain the input and output characteristics of a Transistor in CB configuration and also determine the hybrid parameters.

APPARATUS :

S.No. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Name of the Apparatus BC107 Power Supply Ammeter Voltmeter Resistor

Range 0-30V 0-10mA 0-5V, 0-10V 1.2KΩ

Quantity 1No. 2No. 2No. Each 1No. 1No.

PROCEDURE:

1. Connect the circuit as shown in figure. 2. For output characteristics Keep IE=2mA by varying VEE. 3. Vary VCC in steps and note down IC and VCB. 4. Repeat step 3 for IE= 4 mA and 6mA. 5. Draw the output characteristics by taking VCB on X-axis and IC on Y-axis for different values of IE. 6. For input characteristics Keep VCB=0, Vary VEE in steps and note down IE and VEB. 8. Repeat step 6 for VCB = 1V and VCB= 2V
