INTRODUCTION / CONCLUSION  Is my intro effective?  Does it arouse the reader’s interest?  Would my reader be engaged to continue reading?  Is my conclusion consistent?  Does it summarise the main points and restates my opinion appropriately? .

PARAGRAPHING  Are the paragraphs in the right order?  Does each one deal with a specific point?  Is each point clear?  Have I used topic sentences?  Are my linking devices correct? .

CHOICE OF WORDS  Is my vocabulary sophisticated enough to express ideas clearly?  How many new words have I used?  Are there any synonyms I should include to add meaning and avoid repetition? .
