J f e w e lc o m e yon a n d t h a n k y o u for y o u r in te r e s t in le a m in g inore abo u t rhe R osicrucian O rder, A M O R C . Your read in g o f th is h o o k le t in d ic a re s th a r you h a v e felt an urge from w ithin, a special som ething th a t drew you to th e R o sicru cian O rder. Perhaps you h av e already ex p lored th e vast sea of m etaphysical a n d self-help books, program s, lectures, and sem in ars, an d you m ay h a v e fo u n d yourself w o n d e rin g h o w to m ake sense o f it all— h o w to p u t it all to g e th e r in a vvay th a t is practical and truly relev an t to you. You can acquire a lot of in fo n n atio n from books, lectures, and classes, and you may even discover some very useful techniques for im proving certain aspects ot your lite. But this approach to self-im provem ent is always incom plete, because m ost books, sem inars, and study groups have a limited focus, such as personal prosperity, im proving relationships, m editation, spiritual atrunem ent, or developing psychic abilities. A nd focusing o n on e area of study doesn't provide balanced developm ent. T h e Rosicrucian system is uniquc — it provides a foundation th a t fies together all oí th e different aspects of m etaphysical study, an d dem onstrates their interconnectedness. To our know ledge, it’s th e only system th a t does this. A ll true esoteric initiations are mystery-dramas. In these dramatizations, a n c ie n t people sought to reen act certain fundam ental tru th s of n ature w hich they h ad discovered. T hroughout m edieval Europe mystical knowledge was often necessarily couched in symbolism or disguised and hidden in the love songs of Troubadours, the formularies of Alchem ists, the symbolical system know n as the Qabala, and the rituals o f Orders of K nighthood.
