Program Your Desired Frequency To enter a desired frequency into a memory channel enter VCO (Frequency Mode) by pressing the VM/SCAN button. 1. Enter the desired frequency using the keypad. The decimal point is fixed and the numbers will move around it as required. 2. Press and hold the VM/SCAN button for about 2 seconds after which the display will show channels 01-99 3. Then press ij or turn the rotary encoder to select the desired channel you wish to enter the frequency into Programming Tip: If your desired channel number is flashing that channel has already been programmed and will reprogrammed if you continue. 4. Press AB to save selection 5. To monitor your channels press the VM/SCAN button to select "Channel Mode" 6. Then press ij or turn the rotary encoder to select the desired channel you wish to monitor NOTE: To program steps 2-4 press the VM/SCAN button to select "Channel Mode" then press ij or turn the rotary encoder to select the desired channel you wish to program. Step 2. Direction of Frequency Shift "SHIFT" 1. Press the MENU button, then press ij or turn the rotary encoder to select menu 21 "SHIFT" 2. Press AB then press ij or turn the rotary encoder to select either "0, -, +" 3. Press AB to save selection 4. Press MENU or any numeric key to exit Step 3. Frequency Shift "OFFSET 1. Press the MENU button, then press ij or turn the rotary encoder to select menu 22 "OFFSET" 2. Press AB then directly enter digits Programming Tip: VHF: 0-37.995 MHz, UHF: 0-69.995 MHz 3. Press AB to save selection 4. Press MENU or any numeric key to exit Step 4. Subtones/Codes For Repeater Access "TCODE" 1. Press the MENU button, then press ij or turn the rotary encoder to select menu 12 "TCODE" 2. Press AB then press MENU to select "CTCSS, DCS, OFF 3. Press ij or turn the rotary encoder to select code Programming Tip: If your frequency guide refers to a PL code enter that as a CTCSS code 4. Press AB to save selection 5. Press MENU or any numeric key to exit
