Must have a minimum HS GPA of 85. Minimum Final Grade of 85 in Math and English Must have pass the entrance examination Must have pass the admission interview Transferee students from other school must have a minimum final grade and GPA of 2.25
RETENTION POLICY After admission to the BS Accountancy program, the student, regardless of year level must maintain good grades at all times. They must meet the following requirements in order to stay in the program: Minimum GPA for every semester: 2.25 Minimum Final Grade for Board Related subjects: 2.25 Board related subjects include Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Business Law, Finance BATTERY TEST: Will be administered every summer of 2nd year Battery Test Rules: o Battery test is composed of 100 questions distributed according to the following: Test I. Fundamentals of Accounting 1 20 points Test II. Fundamentals of Accounting 2 20 points Test III. Financial Accounting and Reporting 1 20 points Test IV. Financial Accounting and Reporting 2 20 points Test V. Cost Accounting and Cost Management 20 points o A time interval of 30 minutes will be given after every test. o Student must achieve Minimum of 75% GPA Minimum of 70% for every test Grading will be based on 50% mark. Example: 1. raw score = 8 grade = 8/20*50+50 grade = 70% 2. raw score = 7 grade = 7/20*50+50 grade = 67.5% o If the student meets the 75% GPA but has at most two failing subject, he/she will be given a chance to retake the exam on the said subject. Re-exam will be given a week after. Only one retake is allowed.
