Wilton Fondant Rose Petal Cupping

A visual guide for help with “cupping” the petals
For all: 1. Cut 1/2 inch between each petal 2. Place on thin foam and soften edges with ball tool 3. Move to thick foam

Cup center only
Rosebud
Brush center with vanilla & thread up toothpick Attach petals with vanilla in this order: • Head • One arm & opposite leg • Remaining petals

Medium Rose

Cup both arms Flip Over—cup head and both legs Flip Back—cup center
Brush center with vanilla & thread up toothpick Attach petals with vanilla in this order: • Both arms • Remaining petals

Full-Size Rose

Cup all petals Flip Over—cup center
Brush center with vanilla & thread up toothpick Turn upside down & let petals fall naturally Gently press to attach

When done, don’t forget to attach the green sepals!
