Early life
Jessie J born Jessica Ellen Cornish,27th march 1988 is my inspiration. Daughter of Stephen Cornish and Rose Cornish (nee Archer), Jessie has always been a lover of music, She attended Collins performing arts school and as an 11 year old was cast in Andrew Lloyd Webbers production of Whistle Down The Wind. She then joined National youth music theatre school appeared in their 2002 production of The Late Sleepers. Jessica has two sisters who are both five and seven years older than she is. Unlike her academic sisters who were both head girl at their school Jessica stated that she was never really good at anything. She said At school they were like oh youre a Cornish girl and they expected me to be the same as my sisters. Give me something to draw or a outfit to pick for someone or hair or make up, acting or write a song I'm fine with it, but anything with sums-it was never my thing. She also said she never based her intelligence on her exam results. In 2003 Jessica won the Britain's brilliant protges performing as Jessica Cornish. At the age of sixteen Jessica started studying at the Brit school, and Graduated with Adele and Leona Lewis.

Teenage life
Jessica studied at the brit school. All through her life Jessica has been through a lot physically ad at the age of 18 years old se had a stroke as a result of having Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, a condition that she has been diagnosed with when was 11.

Early Career
Jessica was signed to Gut records and she started to record a album, but company went bus before anything was released. Se she found success as a songwriter gaining a Sony Atv publishing contract. Jessica has also written songs for people like Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus including Party in the USA. Jessica was also the support act for Cyndi Lauper for her Uk dates for Cyndi Laupers of her 2008 Bring Ya to the Brink tour. Cyndi Invited Jessica to sing with her on stage for the performances of Girls Just want to have fun.

Jessica was signed for 4 years before her first you tube video was posted.

Jessica first came to the attention of Lava records, when her publisher at Sony/ATV, Rich Christina, sent Lava president Jason Flom a link to her MySpace page, which the record executive loved.

After seeing a impressive US performance Lava records-along with several other record companies were very keen to sign her. However the progress was slow because her managers insistence on, what Flom called, a "crazy deal". They also refused to le Jessica speak to any of the labels directly. Jessica eventually signed with Lava as part of a joint venture with universal republic.

Current Career
When she is writing music she uses her full name Jessica Cornish however when she performs she uses Jessie J. Jessica started writing her album in 2005 and it got released 2011. Jessica won the critics choice award at the 2011 Brit Awards. On 6th March 2011 her album Who you are debuted at number 2. In February 2012 the album was certified triple platinum by the British Phonographic Industry. The albums first single was Do it like a dude. Jessica initially wrote the song with the idea that Rihanna would sing it because Rihannas song Rude Boy had been released at that time. She sent it to Rihannas label and her own management. Jessicas label were very keen for it to be Jessicas first single instead. The highest it reached in the charts was number 2. The second single was price tag.B.o.B featured on which was also the albums lead US single. The single came to number 1. She then went to release five more singles which came in atNobodys Perfect-number 9 Whos Laughing Now-number 16 Domino number 1 in the UK and number in the US Who You Are number 8 Laserlight in the top 10 Jessica recently confirmed that her second album would begin promotion in May 2013.

Why she Inspires me


She inspires me for all the reasons that I have just listed, she is an amazing person and she has showed me that no matter what you go through you can always get through it. Her music is really inspiring and she is an amazing person.
