Using Lync-on-the-web for sharing your desktop.

*This is a one-time installation that needs to be completed prior to sharing your desktop 1. On the desktop, launch the ‘Lync’ icon:

Lync Icon 2. In the ‘Office Communicator Web Access’ window, click on ‘Sign In’:

3. In the ‘Communicator’ window that opens, pull up or type in a contact. When the name is now recognized, right-click on the name and choose ‘Share My Desktop’:

4. A pop-up window will appear (as shown below); choose ‘Click to Install’. *The installation takes approximately 1 minute to complete:

5. After this initial installation, you will now have a new item in the menu bar called, “Meet Now”. This is how you will begin your sharing sessions.
