**Updated** Municipal Cooling Centers Open In Orange County Hot temperatures, air quality in effect (Goshen, NY) –The following municipalities have opened their cooling centers for the public as a relief from the excessive and prolonged heat our region is experiencing. City of Port Jervis Youth Center Address: 134 Pike Street, Port Jervis Daily: 9:00 a.m. thru 6:00 p.m. Contact: Anna - (845) 858-4017 City of Newburgh Activity Center at Recreation Park 401 Washington Street Daily: 8:30am - 9:00pm City has also extended the hours of the park pool from 10am thru 8pm daily. Pool will close daily between 4:30pm thru 5:00pm for staff meal breaks.
