and save the State of Missouri $22,000,000
MISSOURI S CONSTITUTION STATES THAT ALL ELECTIONS MUST BE OPEN. ----And yet many Missouri counties use Direct-Record, Touch-Screen, Electronic Voting Machines (DREs). These machines completely lack transparency: they run on secret software that by law no one not even election officials has the right to review; they have no reliable means for election officials to audit the election results they produce; and, they allow no citizen oversight of the vote counting process. What s more, DREs from every major manufacturer have been shown to be easily hacked without the possibility of detection. Now is the time to act!!!! An interim Missouri House of Representatives Elections Committee is now discussing how to replace our rapidly aging electronic voting equipment. We must tell this committee loud and clear: the last thing Missouri needs is to purchase a new generation of highrisk voting machines that violate our basic right to open elections!! We must demand handmarked paper ballots!!!! Please contact the Coalition for Transparent and Secure Elections (CTSE) to find out how you can help at firstname.lastname@example.org
