Holiday Sharing Challenge

There’s no better time to spread cheer than during the holidays right? This worksheet covers how to share a
Google document with someone.
1. Go to drive.google.com.
Login if you have a Google account. Otherwise create an account.
2. Click the red Create button, then select “Document.”
3. Click “Untitled document” at the top of the document.
Rename the title to “Happy Holidays from ___________ (add your first name)” and click OK.
4. Type a holiday message for the class.
Make it unique and fun.
5. Insert an image.
Click “Insert” from the top menu and select “Image...” Select the “Search” tab on the left and
search for “holiday” or “Christmas” or something else and insert an image in the document.
6. Ask a few neighbors around you for their email address so you can share your
holiday document with them.
If they agree, write down their email addresses:

 ___________________________________________________________________________
7. Click the blue “Share” button at the top.
Add the email addresses to “Add People” section and click “Share and Save.” Your neighbors will now get
an email.
If someone shares a document with your, check your email to open their holiday message. Happy
