AAR shines at PSFU International Trade Facilitation Expo 2013 AAR had a stall at the just concluded PSFU

(Private sector Foundation Uganda) International Trade Facilitation Expo 2013 at UMA show grounds main exhibition hall. It was under the theme “Engaging the Private Sector with the Trade Opportunities in the COMESA Region”. This year’s event featured a three-day exhibition and business seminar from 23rd to 25th July. AAR had a strong sales team at the venue. There were some people who actually signed up for membership at the event. AAR Ntinda Health centre and AAR Emergency handled the medical aspects of the event respectively.AAR had a standby ambulance throughout the event.AAR Medical team carried out free blood pressure check-ups. Visitors to the AAR stall got an opportunity to walk away with free consultation vouchers. All functions of AAR like Public Relations, customer care, sales, insurance, and health care were ably represented. The event was also a platform to reassure the public about our services and also receive feedback regarding our brand in general .The Expo attracted over 3500 people. PSFU has since 2005 been organizing the International Trade Facilitation Expos aimed at bringing together the trade facilitators / service providers under one roof with the potential and actual business entities who are the users. There were sessions chaired by ministers and key business personalities in Uganda which encouraged questions and answers. PSFU is Uganda’s apex body for the private sector. It is made up of 175 business associations, corporate bodies and the major public sector agencies that support private sector growth. Since its founding in 1995, PSFU has served as a focal point for private sector advocacy as well as capacity building and continues to sustain a positive dialogue with Government on behalf of the private sector.
