1) Scope of Document: To detect and correct failure caused due to Error 7 in the Update. Let us consider a scenario where the update from PSA process fails due to this error as shown below:

3) Dependency: NA 4) Steps to be followed (Process): 4.1 Search the details of the error : 1) Right click on the failed process type and go to Display Messages option, the following error message appears:

Click on the Process Monitor tab to view the details of the error. When the monitor screen opens up, under the Details tab we could see the details of the error as shown:

Once clicked on , the following screen appears: In the screen which appears: Put the Cube name Place a tick mark in the two checkbox (P_IC_ACT and P_PG_GEN) And execute in Background (make sure the User is BWCOM not your CAI).

Note: p_prov: InfoCube name (if empty, all active InfoCubes) --> No selection p_ic_act: 'X' activates an active InfoCube if WIPROGID is empty. p_pg_gen: 'X' generates all write programs for active InfoCubes. Monitor the background job in SM37 until the job is finished 4.3 Restart the data load process: Now go to process chain, right click on the failed process type and click on option Repeat. Monitor whether the data which got updated to the target. Here in this case check whether the data loaded in the target matches with data count in PSA, since it is full load.
