Preferred Gender Pronouns or
PGPs
are the genderpronouns that we all use, such as his, her, hir, she, he,him, ze

“female”.
The whole point in
saying what our PGPs are is that we don’t want to make
assumptions about how others identify. When we ask about your PGPs we are looking for specific pronounsyou use
not 
your gender identity, gender expression orsex.
Examples:
“I am a girl/boy.”
 
“I prefer masculine/feminine ones.”“Girl/Guy ones.”
Vs.
“I prefer my name.”
 
“I prefer she, her, and hers.”
 
“I prefer gender neutral
