Object :

Specimen temperature has to be raised from ambient t to 250 c.


Heating is done through radiation . 1. In a open area. 2. In a closed area (i.e closed chamber)

Package connections with Heat source:


Temperature is going to measure by thermocouple(TC) . The position of the TC is shown in the front view fig(1). Heating source is through IR heater lamps of capacity 500 wattage with reflector. Reflector is to direct the light in one direction i.e front not back. fig(2). The heating source which is located by a distance of 150mm ( which is variable) is

fixed to the support fig(3).

Requirement:
Theoretical equation is required for finding the time required to heat the specimen from

30 c to 250 c with respective distance and time. Calculation in EXCEL is PREFERRABLE
