In many shoot’em up games you want to have the sprite damaged in someway if it is hit. Here is an easy way of having different costumes (damages) for each sprite. You do this in the Costumes section for each sprite Here is the Costume section for my Ghost sprite:
I change the name of the costume to Ghost1:
I then press the Copy button to copy it and rename to ghost2
I now edit the ghost2 image by pressing the Edit button and changing it in someway:
I could carry on adding more images to show the ghost slowly being destroyed. Once this is done we need to find a way of changing the costumes after it has been hit. To do this use the switch to costume command eg
YOU CAN ALSO SWITCH COSTUMES LINKED TO MOUSE BUTTON MOVEMENTS EG CHANGING THE SPRITE TO FACE A DIFFERENT WAY OR JUMP IF YOU PRESS CERTAIN BUTTONS
