Discipline

*Discipline will be communicated on a daily basis in your childs Student Planner in the yellow Parent/Teacher communication box. If your child had an exceptional day, you will find a sticker, stamp or note in the planner. *If your childs day did not go as expected, then you will find a quick note detailing what went wrong that day. *Each day you will be required to initial near/next to my note or sticker/stamp. *We will also be using Class Dojo. The website monitors specific behaviors and will send a report detailing your childs behavior for the day. The children can earn certain rewards based on their Dojo points *If a discipline problem is serious, then you will receive a call or asked to attend a parent teacher meeting.

Homework is given on Monday, is expected to be returned on Friday and signed by a parent/guardian. The homework can be found at www.bcasecondgrade.weebly.com The homework will be in a tic-tac-toe format. It will be expected that you complete 3 across, up and down, or diagonal.

Student Planners
Student planners will go back and forth from school to home each day. The planners will be used for discipline notes, spelling words, notes home and other important note keeping. Please check planners each night.
