Meeting Summary
 Today we looked over the flyer and made a few more tweaks such as we will have water and light refreshments, online pre-registration and regeristration the day of, plus that event is free for everyone, and where participants may park. No permits are needed with our route other than we may think about someone volunteering near Harbor to help with crossing the street. Just in case. We will also have access to a booth at the farmers market the 14th of Sep to pass out information and flyers to passerbyers. Ashton Gardens will help provide us with fruit. Target in Venice has a lot of lime green at their store as an FYI. We all need to try and reach Cate Quest who is in charge of Downtown Main Street to help us pass out info. Flyers will be ready by the 13th for our next meeting to start passing out to everyone. There will also be an email blast with the final flyer so we may still pass out a few and forward to some of our own contacts. We will be turning in a newspaper press release that we finalized today by Sept 3rd. At our next meeting we will have a volunteer list for each weekend of who will be doing what We will also have signs with arrows and facts placed for during the run. Paula will be working on talking with Dallas and Linda from D-Fy We would like the Venice and Englewood YMCA be more proactive with us to help with testing. Currently we think there are less than 100 students in it. and about 12 business are a part of it.
