3.4.3 Converter Model
A simplifieu conveitei mouel has been useu in simulations. As mentioneu
pieviously, the switching events neeu not be simulateu. Bowevei, the conveitei
uelay has to be taken into account |Seiban 2uuSj |Soens, Biiesen & Belmans
2uuSj. This can be uone, as a fiist appioximation, by uelaying the iefeience to
the conveitei block by multiples of the sampling time ueteimineu by the iatio of
the sampling fiequency to the switching fiequency. The only uiffeience
obseiveu, with this way of mouelling, in the conveitei cuiient is the lack of
switching haimonics.
