Finchley Outward Bound - The Walk

Part 3 - Sunday 13th October at 12-00pm

A fascinating walk along the disused railway to Finsbury Park Meet outside East Finchley station at 11-45am for a 12 noon start.
The third and final part of our Outward Bound railway walks. We head off through the ancient woodland of Cherry Tree, Highgate and Queens Woods with a lunch stop at the Queens Wood Caf, tasty, wholesome food and something of a mini eco -centre with bee-keeping, vegetable gardens, wildlife pond and solar panels. After lunch we go past the ground level ghost station at Highgate and pick up the tracks through Crouch End and Stroud Green to Finsbury Park for a finish at the Park Caf. Most of the track is now woodland and is very pretty. The pace will be leisurely and there will be drop out points along the way. At Finsbury Park we take the bus back to Archway.
