Menjalankan eksperimen untuk mengkaji perbezaan diantara logam dan bukan logam Materials and apparatus : Carbon rod, copper rod, sand paper, Bunsen burner, thumbtack, candle, plasticine, tripod stand Bahan dan radas : Rod karbon, rod kuprum, kertas pasir, penunu bunsen, paku tekan, lilin, plastisin, tungku kaki tiga. Procedures / Prosedur : ( refer text books page 97 and 98 / rujuk buku teks m/s 97 dan 98 ) 1. Rub the surface of the copper rod and carbon rod with sand paper. Gosok permukaan rod kuprum dan rod karbon dengan kertas pasir. - Which rod that is shiny? - Rod manakah yang berkilat? 2. Arrange the apparatus as shown in the diagram below. Stick the thumbtack at the end of the rod with the plasticine. Susunkan radas seperti rajah dibawah. Lekatkan paku tekan pada hujung setiap rod dengan plastisin. - Which thumbtack will fall down faster? - Paku tekan pada rod manakah akan jatuh lebih cepat? - Which rod that can conduct heat? - Rod manakah dapat mengkonduksikan haba? 3.
