CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.2.5 Describe the overall structure of a story, including descrbing how the beginning introduces the story and the ending concludes the action. Objectives and Validation

Objective: Scholars will gain a better understanding of folktales and fairytales in various cultures. Measure: Scholars will compare and contrast the story of Fairytales in various cultures. Objective: Scholars will develop the behavior and stamina necessary to successfully complete 3 twenty minute Daily Five rotations. Measure: Scholars will record their growth in stamina as a class. Objective: Scholars will write a fairytale modeled after the common themes weve encountered in Cinderella. Measure: Scholars will complete 5 graphic organizers which will assist them in writing there own Cinderella tale.
