Finely Crushed Mix apples with raisins. sugar. Repeat until 5 leaves have been used. Lift towel. Brush top of the strudel with butter and sprinkle with 2 T crumbs. Sliced ¾ cups Raisins 1 tablespoon Lemon Rind. jelly roll fashion. using about 1/2 c of butter. Bake the strudels 1 . Allow to cool slightly and then serve. chopped/grated ¾ cups flour 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon baking soda ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon cinnamon ¼ teaspoon ginger ¼ teaspoon allspice ¼ teaspoon nutmeg ¼ teaspoon cloves ½ cup bran ¼ cup raisins 10 . Bake covered at 350℉ for 1 hour or until slightly firm and mixture pulls away from sides slightly. 1 cup water. Spoon mixture into a lightly oiled 2-quart casserole dish or two 9-inch pie plates or cake pans. Stale bread may be used instead of fresh. Combine apple and sunflower butter (or tahini). Toss apples in a bowl with bread cubes.Chapter 1: A-M Cube bread and toss in a large bowl with raisins and caraway seeds. at room temperature 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 egg white. amazake or soy milk. An ice cream scooper works well. whipped ½ cup buttermilk at room temperature ½ cup apples. miso. then pour liquid mixture over apples and bread. Stir to coat. Allow mixture to sit for 2 to 4 hours before baking so bread will soak up flavors. Cover with lid (oven-proof). Then remove from oven and spoon into individual dessert cups.

Spoon batter into a greased 13x9x2" pan.Chapter 1: A-M walnuts and raisins. Stir in apples. melted -serve with--slightly sweetened whipped. APPLE BRAZIL NUT SQUARES 12 servings Source: Apple Raisin Greats --Pastry-2 cups flour 3 tablespoons sugar ¾ cups butter or margarine. Sift powdered sugar over top. oil.

Fold in the apples and cinnamon. Beat at high speed until thick and lemon colored. Blend in the nuts and raisins. Drizzle with melted butter. Spread apricot jam over the pastry. APPLE BRIOCHE BREAD PUDDING 1 servings Source: Apple Raisin Greats 1 lb.Apple Raisin Greats Mix flour and sugar in bowl. Roll pastry into a 9x13" baking pan. lemon juice and 3 tbs water. Cut into squares. building the edge up about 1". beat egg yolks until fluffy. Top with apple-nut mixture. Blend the egg. Toss with fork until four is moistened. Sprinkle over the dry ingredients. Return to oven. Add sugar and salt. Cut butter into mixture until pieces are the size of peas. split and scraped 2 cups sugar. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. In small bowl. divided 13 . Press into a ball. Add last tbs of water if needed. Serve warm with slightly sweetened whipped cream and garnished with almonds. Bake 15-20 minutes longer until top is golden. brioche 4 cups whipping cream 1 vanilla bean.

Pour 1/4 of the hot cream into the egg mixture. then moisten the bread with the cream and egg yolk mixture. Bring the mixture to a boil. You may need to use 2 to fit all of the containers. Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Return all of the egg mixture to the milk and whisk well. You may have to remove the pieces that are done to a separate bowl. reduce the heat to medium-low. They will caramelize. peeled. Combine the whipping cream and vanilla bean in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. until the apples are soft but hold their shape. the remaining cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar. Cut the brioche into 1/4-inch cubes and place them in a large bowl. You'll likely need 3 or 4 brioche to equal a pound. Be careful not to burn them. stirring frequently. topping them off with any excess liquid.
