BACKGROUND COMPANY
• The founder is Lee Kong Chian who is a Singaporean. • Established in 1963s and produce pineapple business for over half century. • HQ is in Singapore but their canneries and plantation are operating in Malaysia. • Canneries - Skudai, plantation - Simpang Renggam.

• Own over 10,000 acres of plantation which are 8,007 acres is pineapple cultivation and the rest is cultivation of the oil palm and the rubber. • The production around 2.5 milion cases of canned pineapple and juice per year. • The total workforce over 1,000 people.

• There are several ways we can suggest for the organization in handling their employees:
Use punch card system to detect the presence of their employees.

Punishment given to the undiciplinary workers, accordingly to the Employment Act (1955).

Provide facilities to increase employees’ motivation.
