Version 2.0
Lay-out and calculations are based on IWCF forms and methods. Sheets are protected except for the yellow and green cells. Use the yellow and green cells for data input. Units are metric (SI - kPa, m and liter) except for OD and ID (field - inch). CURRENT WELL DATA input is used for length and volume calculations of drillstring, open hole, casing and liner. Same for DRILL STRING DATA. Except for the PRE-RECORDED DATA of the DRILL STRING, annular volumes are caculated automatically depending on OD and ID data. Therefore small differences may occur compared to published volume/capacity tables. Take values from pre-recorded PUMP DATA as input for PUMP STROKES and TIME calculations at the bottom half of Killsheet 1. Same for DYNAMIC PRESSURE LOSS input on Killsheet 2. Most of the data input will be checked if the values are correct compared to earlier or other input. If there is ambigous data, a warning message will be shown. KILLGRAPH is based on Wait and Weight Method CSG Killsheet has no specific restrictions. LINER Killsheet is valid for the situation that total Drill Collar length is smaller than the Liner length, i.e. Drill Collars, if any, are located in the liner and/or open hole. Use the Excel file "Killsheet IWCF EMPTY" for printing out blank Killsheets which can be used for hand calculations. Be careful with making adjustments or improvements, the program is checked and works fine. If you want to make changes, here is the password to unprotect the worksheets: "killsheet" Please forward your suggestions or comments to: Andre.Wusten@Deutag.com or address it to Andre Wusten at the rig site: oddeT51@gto.net.om Cheers, Andre Wusten TWM/92 Wellsite Drilling Engineer PDO rig 50 / DEUTAG T-51 PS IWCF Killsheet for Deviated/Horizontal well is under construction
