Abstract : A numerical co nt rol t ransformatio n has been car2
ried o ut on t he basis of t he t raditional milling machine. A wo rk2
table wit h 6 degree of f reedom was configured to fo rm a novel
multi2f unctioned numerically cont rolled milling machine. This
paper int roduced briefly t he st ruct ure of t his typed milling ma2
chine , and t he calibration met hod fo r t he po sture parameters of
cutter relative to coo rdinate system of pedestal was recommen2
ded in detail , which po ssesses impo rtant significance fo r enhan2

cing t he p rocessing accuracy of milling machine.
