He that Endureth (the fiery trials of this life) to the End The Same shall be Saved!

Mark 13:5-13 (13) And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. 9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. 10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations. 11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. 12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

My Christian friends, there have been many statement made in regards to soul salvation and how it can be attained, but I believe this is the simplest of them all,
“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

God requires us to be faithfully obedient to Him, despite the obstacles which He allowed to be in our way. As Christians, we must not allow our faithfulness to be undermined by being falsely accused, hated, abused, always misunderstood and misrepresented or by the suffering of ailments. God allows all these trials of our faith by fire being much more precious than of gold, so that we might be found worthy of claiming our inheritance. This inheritance of the saints, which is incorruptible and undefiled, reserved in heaven for us who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. 1Peter 1:3-9 (7)

Solomon in the book of Ecclesiastes saith, “Let us hear the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

Wherefore my Christian friends, seeing we have in store a kingdom which cannot be moved, sure, let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptable with reverence and Godly fear and keep His commandments, in order to attain that which is in our sight – For our God is a consuming fire.
This fire which is mentioned in verse 29 of Hebrews chapter 12, simply tells us of what is in store if we fail to serve God acceptable with reverence and Godly fear: the outer darkness – where the worm dieth not and the fire not quenched. Mark 9:38-48 Luke 8:4-15 (10-15) And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. 11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. 14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. 15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Jesus soweth the Word of the kingdom (Mark 13:19) into our hearts and despite our suffering and shortcomings we ought to take it and allow it to be engrafted into our hearts so that we can bear fruits fit for the kingdom. My friends, it all boils down to the condition of our hearts. It is our condition of heart that will allow or prevent us from enduring to the end when beset by the fiery trials of life. These fiery trials, we must overcome so that we might be found acceptable at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Saints, it only starts by taking the first step: 1. We need to prevent God’s Words from being taken away by building a fortress around your hearts. This cannot be done by whilst there are aliens hidden within our walls; we must lay aside all malice and all guile and hypocrisy and envies and all evil speaking, as newborn babies desire the sincere milk of the Word that ye may grow thereby. We need to earnestly

contend the faith, we will always have issue within the body, at times all one can do is to be cordial and seek God on behalf of our brethren as they are too contentious, bitter and hateful to be dealt with as our heart desires. As we become zealous for the things of God, we must maintain the fortitude in God’s Words as it is through our faith in His Words that will allow us to clear the fast approaching hurdles in our way. We must trust in God’s Word to be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path , because of these hurdles many times we fell into the valleys of our Christian sojourn which leave us feeling lonesome and abandon. Hey, guess what? We don’t have to stay that way, thanks be to God, we have His implanted Word which is hid in our hearts that gives us hope so that we may not continue in sinfulness, but rise unto a higher plane. My Christian friends, the pathway is full of rocks, but we must maintain the moisture that is of the Holy Spirit which is like a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Yes, the thorns are many, wanting to choke the life out of us. However, we cannot allow the cares of this world, the riches and pleasures of this life to choke us and bring no fruit to perfection. We have a higher calling; we have a greater hope than all the wealth and pleasures in this earth to gain. We have my Christian friends, spiritual blessings in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3); we must show our faith to the substance of the things we hope for, the evidence of things not seen.

The question is my Christian friends, what is the substance of the things you hope for, is it in heaven or on earth? We ought to ensure that the substance of the things hope for is of gold, silver and precious stones as these will stand the test of time being tried by the fire of this age. Wood hay and stubble built upon the sure foundation will not stand the test of time. If any man's work shall be burned, he
shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 1 Corinthians 3:10-15

As Christians we ought to ensure that we are preparing for the hope that is set before us the kingdom of heaven or we will faced being cast into hell for a thousand years: where their worm dieth not, and the fire quenched not. Mark 9:43, 44. This material that we use to build upon the Sure Foundation will determine what fruit is evident in our Christian life. It will also determine what God will find as a life acceptable for the coming kingdom of the heavens or hell fire. We need to make this life struggles and suffering count. We need to endure the trial of our faith to the end – this is only our reasonable service; but he that endureth unto the end, the same shall be saved.

My friends we can accomplish our soul salvation we need to take our eyes of the obstacles in faith, knowing that our God can see us through. I am not saying that we should get complacent; we must fix your eyes on Jesus (the Word/ the Way, the truth and the Life) and not look at the obstacles as Peter did. Remember Peter after he realised that he was walking on the water took his eyes off Jesus and shifted his eyes on the boisterous wind and was afraid and started to sink (Matthew 14:25-31). However, we in like manner must not focus on the hurdles as it was not meant to be our focal point. Our focus must be on enduring unto the end through faithfully obedient to the Word of God—Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul was given a thorn in the flesh, by the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest he should be exalted above measure. For this thing he besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from him. And the Lord said unto Him, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. The apostle Paul remarked “Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:7-10

Christian friends it is our reach, we must have hope in God that He can continual transform us to this level of maturity. He is waiting! All we need to do is reach out and put the Word of God to practice so that He can cause an inward change in our hearts unto perfection. Christian friends, if we fail to make the grade, God has provided hell fire ( If any
man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.) to burn away the dross (impurities). This we see the when the books are open including the book of life, that whosoever name was found in the book of life was spared the lake of fire and thus allowing us to be rendered purified, becoming worthy to enter His presence in the everlasting age.

John the Baptist speaking to the Jews concerning Jesus whose shoes he was not able to bear, he explained, “Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his
floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” Matthew 3:12

Thanks be to God for His everlasting love which He hath loved us. We see in Revelation 21:3-4, “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his

people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Let us seek to endure the trials of our sojourn to the end so that our soul shall be saved!
