The City of Tacoma invites all residents to join Tacoma Mayor Marilyn Strickland, Tacoma Councilmember Lauren Walker

and the Washington Commissioner of Public Lands Peter Goldmark to honor Arbor Day with a ceremonial tree planting. It’s Tacoma’s 19th year as a Tree City USA community, 10th year as a Tree Line USA community and the sixth year that the City has received a Growth Award from the Arbor Day Foundation. This event will center around a very special street tree project – Hilltop Diversitree. Please join us to celebrate; more than 200 street trees will soon be planted in the Hilltop Business District. For more information, visit cityoftacoma.org/diversitree.
