Learning Objectives: Develop the ability to perform business process analysis to identify events emanating from both external and internal sources that could potentially affect the achievement of an entitys business process objectives. Basic Readings: 1. CERM Ch 4 2. BMST (especially pages 43-62) Seminar Activities Team Presentation 1 Read the case notes on Mercedes-Benz U.S. International (MBUSI). Using the readings from BMST as a guide, perform a business process analysis of MBUSIs supply-chain management. In your presentation, clearly explain how the risks identified are linked to the process objectives, and how the controls are linked to the risks identified. -- End of Team Presentation 1 requirements -Class Discussion Identify generic key process risks, performance measures and appropriate business controls for Sales and Customer Service.
