The Office of the Auditor General draws its mandate from the Constitution of Kenya. Article 229 of the constitution establishes the Office of the Auditor–General. Article 248, Section 3 and Article 249, Section 2 (a) and (b) provides for the independence of the Office. This Office is mandated to audit Accounts of all National and County Governments, among other Public Entities Pursuant to Article 252 (1) (c) of the Constitution, the Office seeks to recruit qualified and competent staff to fill the following positions:-

AUDIT ASSOCIATE I - Information Technology (IT) – KENAO SCALE 9 Monthly Salary: Kshs. 48,268 to 55,876 plus other allowances ranging from Kshs. 29,500 to 39,500 10 VACANCIES Duties and Responsibilities Graduate Audit Associate - IT will undertake various IT auditing and assurance work of prescribed scope and complexity in National and County Government entities; State Agencies and State Corporations. He/ she is expected to undertake: Audit of clients IT systems  General and application IT control reviews,  Review of Security and Risk Management of Information systems,  Review implementation of Information systems and processes, and,  Confirm whether the auditees comply with appropriate standards and best practices. Requirements for Appointment These positions will apply to recent graduates from recognized universities with an experience of 2 to 3 years.  Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field from any recognized university.  A Master Degree will be an added advantage Applications together with a detailed resume, scanned copies of the applicants’ Certificates, testimonials and ID card should be attached to the application.
