Research at least three events from 1910 to 2010. Setting Explained: For example, the feminist movement in the 18th century would be difficult to understand without womens suffrage and how men socially dominated women. 3. What was the catalyst for this event? Catalyst: Is there a key person that lead this event? A group? Was the catalyst due to the death or suffering of one person/group? 4. How many people were effected by this event? 5. Did it cost lives or save lives?

Under Historical Imagination, include personal and emotional information. FACTS HISTORICAL IMAGINATION

Historical Imagination The ability to project oneself into the time and place. To see the world through their eyes. This does not mean sympathizing or siding with those whose actions we would ordinarily condemn, but understanding why they believed and behaved as they did. To show what actually happened with the highest degree of objectivity possible. Include ages, family make-up, social status, time and place of birth and death. Considering the research, what do people feel? Did this event cause subsequent changes? Did it change our worlds, a countrys or groups perception? Was the impact short or long term? How is our present day view of the world affected by this event? Considering the research, how does the average person react? What makes this event interesting? ! Theme - a central topic, subject or concept. FACTS HISTORICAL IMAGINATION THEME

Title each event with one of the following themes: human struggles against nature human struggles against society human struggles to understand divinity war and peace overcoming adversity Murphys Law - Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. death and its part in the life cycle sacrices being rewarded Place your bibliography at the bottom of the table.
