GEORGE’S MISTAKE

By Shortey

George was a clumsy fellow. He would bump into objects around him everyday.

One day George got invited to his sister, Gina’s, birthday party. He was asked to bring the birthday cake for his sister.

George went to the bakery store.

“Can I buy a cake?” George asked. “Sure, here look at this cake book to decide which one you want.” said the cashier. So George looked.

George picked out a purple and yellow cake.

“That will be $10.25" said the cashier. George pulled out his money out of his wallet.

Then George fell backwards, right onto a lamp! “Oops!” George said.

When George got home he said, “I forgot a gift for Gina!” So George rushed to Target to buy Gina’s gift. When George was there he accidentally bumped into a lamp! Poor George! So Then after that reoccurring

incident George went home. George finally got to Gina’s house for her birthday celebration.

“Yay!” George said very excited. “I love birthday parties!” Finally George gave Gina her present.

“Why thank you, George!” Gina said. “This is a beautiful water lily!” “Your welcome!”, George said proud. Oh no, George! Watch out!! *BUMP* “Oops!” George said

as he ran into another lamp!
