Application Procedures

-Completed applications can be mailed or dropped off at the station. Mailing Address: Hockessin Fire Company Attn: Membership Secretary 1225 Old Lancaster Pike Hockessin, DE 19707 -Applications must be completely filled out with all requested documents& items submitted. Incomplete applications will not be processed. -Application will be presented to the Company at the next monthly meeting (1st Monday of the month). -After the first reading, the candidate will be contacted by the Membership Secretary (or Asst.) and an interview will be scheduled. -The candidates interview results will be presented to the membership at the monthly meeting following the interview. The Company will then vote and if accepted, candidate becomes a member of the Company. -New member will be given a key, New Member Handbook & copy of the By-Laws. She/He will also be introduced to a Assistant Chief to discuss training and be given a tour of the station.
