Dealing with other people is a crucial factor for successful leadership. How to understand and handle the feelings and opinions of others? How to influence the people around you in a positive way? How to find the best compromise to move a team forward? And if needed, how to manage conflicts most efficiently? This module is trying to answer these questions and more, covering the topic of emotional intelligence, negotiation and conflict management in an interactive and fun way.

Preparation
Participants will understand the concept of emotional intelligence, and evaluate their own EI by working with their MSCEIT test results Participants will learn key concepts of negotiation, and practice their negotiation skill in various games and simulations Participants will understand the basics of conflict management, reflect on their own behavior in conflict, and practice the learned skills in simulations Participants will set personal development goals for the next semester based on the week
Activities
In addition to short inputs through lectures, participants will be able to engage in various activities and games, and the module will also offer time to reflect on the experience and conclude the key learnings.
