Spencer Williams IV No Mail Moves on Sunday It is imperative that you understand No Mail moves on Sunday We rest We worship We sleep

They will not haul your ideas and proclamations helter-skelter For on this day the messenger rests She sets down the metered papers the parcels The urgent packages She takes in the day No one will move the carrier May you shout in anger leap with anticipation or hop out of your seat in excitement No mail will move This cannot be stressed enough Wait in your room, on a sofa Sit quietly, for the hour will come when the lady reaches into the leather pouch and resurrects your words from a time before

Move forward and watch as your partner screams on paper, as you catch it respond with your loud voice Deafen this side of the country But take heed that No mail moves on Sunday
