The steel barrel has been refinished and then retouched. The Magna grips are worn but good. The revolver has the flat latch, the five-screw design (plus a lock screw for the top sideplate screw, making this what some call a 6-screw), the pinned barrel, and aluminum cylinder that was dropped after a short time in favor of a steel cylinder. The cylinder, frame and barrel serial numbers all match, making this a relatively rare Airweight with an original cylinder. The overall condition is good.13-0390005 S-13 (350-550) C&R

This is an ammo belt loader marked COLTS PT F MFG CO HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. with Browning patent dates of Oct 23, 1900 USA and Jan 4, 1900 England. The three digit serial number (858) makes this a very early production piece, though there is a partial strike over the edge of the feed slot that could be part of a fourth digit "1". Though untested the machine appears to be functioning. It does not have the box or feed guide. The mechanism is a bit sluggish due to the old grease but will clean up nicely. The overall condition is good. 13-023-0002 S-13 (600-900)

Serial # 54290, .30-03 (pre 30-06 Govt) caliber, 24" barrel with good bore having pronounced rifling; even pitting and dark color the length. The rifle retains about 85% of a very old reblue over underlying pitting and some scratches from cleaning. The stock and forend are good with overall darkening and a few cracks. There is a small chip at the receiver. It was refinished some time ago. The top of the receiver at the chamber was matte-finished by Winchester. The sights may be original. The chamber marking on the top of the barrel says 30 U.S. MOD. 1903. The rifle was made in 1905; may be one of the last 30-03 chamberings made. The 30-06 Govt came out the next year and the caliber marking was changed. The chamber on the 30-03 is only 0.07 longer than the 30-06; the latter ammo can be fired safely in a 30-03 rifle. All but 30 or 40 Springfield 03 rifles made before 1906 were rechambered for the 30-06, making the few civilian rifles chambered for that cartridge the only surviving rifles so chambered. The receiver is the contoured type. The magazine is the early two-piece design. The top tang marking is MODEL 1895 / WINCHESTER- / TRADE MARK. The lower tang only has the serial number perpendicular to the tang. The action feeds and ejects smoothly. The last patent date is 98. The overall condition is good.13-044-0015 H-3 (600-1000) C&R

Serial # 17xx7, .236 (6mm) Navy caliber, 28" barrel with good but slightly pitted bore. The finish is a mix of original finish with mostly patina, a few pitted spots and cleaned, aged metal. The barrel still retains marks from the front band. The stock appears to be a checkered commercial sporter stock with a pistol grip and slight Schnabel tip. The third and fourth digits of the serial number are gone to wear and cleaning, with the last digit showing a bare trace of a 7. The first two letters of the inspectors mark, J.N., are present. From this information, the rifle can be dated to 1908. The inspector, Lt. John N. Jordan, inspected the second Navy order of 6mm Lee rifles in the 15,001 to 20,000 serial number range. Since this rifle bears the inspectors mark it was not initially sold as a commercial rifle; it was purchased by the Navy. It was subsequently purchased on the surplus market and fitted with its present stock. The military rear sight was removed and a vernier sight with peep aperture was added to the rear surface of the receiver. It is adjustable for elevation only. The front sight is the military blade with no cover. The barrel has two tapped holes where the military sight was removed. The bolt stop and screw are missing. The magazine floorplate assembly is missing; the follower and spring are present and operate properly. The bolt, trigger and safety otherwise operate properly. The rifle is being sold as a barreled receiver for the purposes of C&R status because of the rarity of these actions. The overall condition is good.13-042-0001 H-1 (800-1200) C&R

The metal surfaces are all black patina with underlying pitting. The construction is entirely hand-made. The teeth are made from spikes that are over in diameter that are welded onto the bottom surface of the jaws.
