BEING A WINNER

TYPES OF PERSONALITY

Four kinds of people:
   

1. Those who make things happen 2. Those who watch things happen 3. Those who wonder what happened 4. Those who don't know that anything happened

There is a quote which reads......... “There are people who make things happen, There are people who watch things happen and There are people who ask “what happened”. Some win, some lose, depending on how much they develop their personalities every day.

TYPES OF PERSONALITY

THE EXTROVERT

Bold, daring, fun loving, always communicating first Reserved, shy and responding to communication Charged, willing to take chances. Negative, rarely smiles, blames others instead of taking charge.

THE ENTROVERT

THE POSITIVE

THE NEGATIVE

Some win, some lose, depending on how much they develop their personalities every day.

Let's define the term "winner":
 

The most common definition is "the person or team with the best score (i.e. points, goals, runs, time, etc.)." A better definition of a winner is "someone who gives 100 percent of their effort in preparation for and during competition.“ However, winning involves more than just beating your opponent on the scoreboard.

When you're a winner you're always happy, but if you're happy as a loser you'll always be a loser.

WINNERS versus LOSERS
The winner is always part of the answer. The winner always has a programme. The winner says, “Let me do it for you”. The winner sees an answer for every problem. The winner says, “It may be difficult but it is possible”. When a winner makes a mistake, he says, “I am wrong”. A winner makes commitments. Winners have dreams. Winners say, “I must do something”. Winners are a part of the team. Winners see the gain. The loser is always part of the problem. The loser always has an excuse. The loser says, “That is not my job”. The loser sees a problem for every answer. The loser says, “It may be possible but it is difficult”. When a loser makes a mistake, he says, “It isn’t my fault”. A loser makes promises. Losers have schemes. Losers say, “Something must be done”. Losers are apart from the team. Losers see the pain.

WINNERS versus LOSERS
Winners see possibilities. Winners believe in win / win. Losers see problems. Losers believe for them to win someone has to lose. Losers see the past. Losers say what they choose. Losers use soft argument but hard words. Losers stand firm on petty things but compromise on values. Losers let it happen.

Winners see the potential. Winners choose what they say. Winners use hard arguments but soft words. Winners stand firm on values but compromise on petty things. Winners make it happen.

REAL LIFE INCIDENTS “DON’T QUIT”

Failures are stepping stones for success When Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, he tried over 2000 experiments before he got it to work. A young reporter asked him how it felt to fail so many times. He said, "I never failed once. I invented the light bulb. It just happened to be a 2000-step process". A school teacher scolded a boy for not paying attention to his mathematics and for not being able to solve simple problems. She told him that you would not become anybody in life. The boy was Albert Einstein. A small boy--the fifth amongst seven siblings of a poor father, was selling newspapers in a small village to earn his living. He was not exceptionally smart at school but was fascinated by religion and rockets. The first rocket he built crashed. A missile that he built crashed multiple times and he was made a butt of ridicule. He is the person to have scripted the Space Odyssey of India single-handedly. He is Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. President of India.
