Lesson ICT lesson - Unite 2 - Microsoft No of 31 students unit/page word students Context of the lesson This lesson covers how to add text, change font size, font color and font face through using Microsoft word program. Teaching goal The overall aim of this lesson is to teach studnets how to add text, change font size, font color and font face through using Microsoft word program with simple instrutions from the teacher. Learning objectives At the end of the lesson students will be able to: Know adding text, change font size, font color and font face through using Microsoft word program. Assumptions about prior learning The learners will have encountered that size mean small or big and color mean black, red, blue, etc. Anticipated problems and possible solutions Some learners maybe didn’t know that font face mean the shape of the font or different way to see a same text but with different style of writing. Main tasks or activities Resources and teaching aids The teacher created a challenging task to Whiteboard marker, marker, eraser, students encourage students learn and feel exiting lesson worksheets, projector, teacher computer, at the same time, through let the students powerpoint, students computers and timer. go to their class website and follow challenging steps. Then students must work in group to complete their task and get a group point. Lesson Procedure \ ICT Lesson Time/ Stage 1. Engagement 5 mins Teacher activity 1- On the carpet area, the teacher will ask students about the day, date, take the attendance, remind them of classroom rule and explain what I am looking for during this lesson thorugh using PowerPoint program. 2- The teacher will divide students into 4 groups, let students play puzzle game with students to discover what is the lesson objective by themselves in the ICT website, to improve their collaborative skills between each other. 3- The teacher created discussion bared in the ICT website and she will write on the whiteboard add text, change font size, font color and font face to cover and build students brainstorm of what they already know about these features in the Microsoft word program. 4- The teacher will explain the lesson steps thorugh using projector, to show students how to add text, change font size, font color and font face in Microsoft word program. Then let the students participate one by one to show their friend again how to add text, change font size, font color and font face. After that show them a video about these steps. 5- The teacher created a challenging task to encourage students learn and feel exiting at the same time, through let the students go to their class website and follow challenging steps. Then students must work in group to complete their task and get a group point. That will help the students to apply their worksheet steps, and practice what they are learn from my explanation. 6- The teacher will review the lesson to the students through ask them why they are learn how to add text, change font size, font color and font face in Microsoft word program? Then inform students that they have homework in the website, which is type a nice text about UAE with a nice formatting, print it and give it to me next class. Finally, give them time to complete the lesson survey in ICT website Student activity
 The whole class will listen to the teacher instructions and interact to answer her questions about day, date, while she take the attendance, play play puzzle game, and participate to read the lesson objective at the end of the puzzle game.

 Students will sit on their place, each of them will think to answer the teacher question about add text, change font size, font color and font face as well. Then open the discussion bared and answer the teacher question about these points  Students will be attentive to the teacher explaining, be active when the teacher asks some questions that related to the lesson and participate to explain the lesson steps to the whole class.
