Action Learning: Research and Practice at Ashridge Business School

Action Learning: What are we learning across the

world? Connecting and disrupting our practices
14-16 April 2014

Announcing an International Action Learning Conference

We invite organisation development practitioners, academics, researchers, managers and leaders to join us at this stimulating, practical and reflective conference exploring, Action Learning: What are we learning across the world? Connecting and disrupting our practices. As action learning extends its reach internationally there is increasing diversity in the contexts, approaches and impacts of its application. There is much to learn from this variety. There are also new challenges to the orthodoxies and conventions of action learning associated with the original Revans legacy. The theme of this conference intends to stimulate conversations that both connect experiences across the world, whilst also being prepared to disrupt our taken-forgranted practices. With a format that combines presentations, workshops, and reflective plenary sessions, the conference team seeks to facilitate dialogue centred on two interrelated themes: 1. Action learning across the world 2. Beyond the Revans legacy/ hegemony

To propose a contribution and/or book your provisional place, please contact barbara.longmore@ashridge.org.uk
